Bike ready.
Notes ready.
A few details help us understand the work before the bike reaches the stand. No specialist vocabulary required.
Bring the bike.
Bring the story.
Tell us what changed, when it happens and what you want the bike to do next.
Prepare your enquiry- Remove personal belongings, panniers and detachable accessories that are not part of the job.
- Bring any wheel-lock or security key needed for the repair.
- Note recent servicing, a fall or a change in parts.
- Tell us about electric assistance or specialist components beforehand.
- If the bike is not safe to ride, arrange suitable transport instead.
What happens
at the workshop.
Tell us what you notice.
A sound, a change in braking, a rough shift, or simply how long the bike has been standing. Everyday words are fine.
Agree the work.
We inspect the bike, separate essential repairs from optional work and explain the parts and labour before starting.
Leave with the details.
At collection, we go through the work, explain any follow-up care and give you a record of what changed.
A few practical
questions.
Can I wait while the work is done?
The work and workshop schedule determine that. Timing is discussed after the bike is assessed; we cannot promise a while-you-wait repair from a description alone.
Should I bring replacement parts?
Mention them first. We need to check compatibility and condition before including them in the work list.
Will the estimate change?
If inspection or agreed work reveals another issue, we explain it and update the scope with you before carrying out additional repairs.
Can someone else collect the bike?
Discuss collection arrangements at the handover so the bike and service notes reach the right person.
