A few details families often want to understand before the first conversation.
Which grades are part of Westhaven?
The Lower School includes Kindergarten through Grade 5. The Middle School includes Grades 6–8. Both share the library, studios, courtyard and school events.
What does the school day look like?
Morning arrival begins at 8:00. Classes start at 8:15. Lower School dismissal is 3:00 and Middle School dismissal is 3:15. Optional afternoon care runs until 5:30.
Do children wear a uniform?
There is no uniform. Students wear everyday clothes suitable for classroom work, outdoor play and studio activities. Closed-toe shoes are part of the daily routine.
What is included in tuition?
Classroom books and materials, curricular day trips, arts classes and clubs within the school day are included. Lunch, optional afternoon care and optional overnight travel are separate.
Can we arrange a visit before discussing an application?
Yes. A campus visit is a useful first step. The tour conversation covers the school day, the grade you are considering and practical family questions.
