Start with the table, not just the flowers.
A long table, a round table and a small dinner setting call for different footprints. Plates, serving dishes and glasses all need space. A low central arrangement or a series of smaller vessels can follow the way the table is used.
We consider height as well as width so guests can see each other across the table.
