puddleDOG GROOMINGPlan a visit

Between visits

Keep the routine
specific to your dog.

The right tools and approach depend on the coat. At collection, ask us to show you what to use and how.

The tools

Ask for an explanation you can follow.

Different coats need different tools. Ask the groomer to explain which brush or comb suits your dog and how the routine fits the coat. Avoid assuming a tool that works on one dog is right for another.

If the coat has tangles or mats you cannot manage comfortably, discuss them with the groomer rather than forcing the work.

The next conversation

Tell us what has changed.

Notice changes in the coat or the way your dog responds to grooming and explain them at the next conversation. Health concerns belong with a veterinarian; a grooming service does not diagnose or treat a medical condition.
