The surface
We compare smooth and textured papers with the artwork, so the surface supports the type and images.
Independent print studio / Books, cards & editions
We turn artwork into printed things people can open, hold and keep. From the first paper choice to the finished stack.
What we print
Why print?
The weight of a card, the way a cover opens and the texture under the ink all affect how a piece feels. We help make those choices work together, rather than leaving them until the artwork is finished.
The edition planner
Try a format, paper feel and color approach. We’ll turn those choices into a short project outline.
Format & color diagram / not a color proof
A sequence of pages gathered into a booklet. We review the page count, cover and binding together.
Compare smooth paper samples to see how they suit your type, images and ink.
Selected work
Side by Side uses overlapping shapes, a simple page rhythm and a tactile uncoated stock to make a small edition feel complete.
Inside the edition
Paper & finishing
We compare smooth and textured papers with the artwork, so the surface supports the type and images.
A folded piece needs room to open. Panel order, paper feel and the final use are considered together.
We choose a binding to suit the page count, paper and the way the book needs to open.

Selected work
Cards, correspondence and folded invitations feel connected when their proportions, paper and ink are developed as a set.
Cards & stationeryWe establish the format, quantity, paper, color and finishing. Page counts, folds and the way the piece will be used guide the choices.
We review the supplied print file against the agreed specification and flag layout or production questions before the job moves forward.
The proof gives the project team a clear checkpoint for text, page order and layout. Physical samples or color proofs are agreed when they are needed.
We print the approved work, complete the agreed folds or binding, check the finished pieces and pack them for the planned handover.
Artwork preparation
Our guide explains the useful checks: finished size, page order, bleed, safe content and the proof review.

The studio
We work with designers, independent publishers and businesses making something worth printing. Clear conversations are part of the craft.
Meet ProofYes. Early conversations about size, paper, folds and binding can help a designer build the file around a realistic production plan.
We work on both focused editions and repeat print projects. Tell us the intended quantity and we can discuss a suitable production approach.
Paper selection is agreed for each project. If a proposed stock changes, we discuss the alternative before moving ahead.
