Our work covers wooden furniture in everyday use: chairs, tables, cabinets and the parts that hold them together.
Look first. Make a plan.
A chair may arrive because it creaks; a table because its top looks cloudy. Those descriptions start the assessment. We also examine construction, earlier repairs and the condition of neighbouring parts.
We separate structural work from cosmetic changes. Where an old mark is stable and does not interfere with use, retaining it may be part of the agreed scope.
Beyond our scope
Upholstery, electrical components, specialist painted decoration and objects needing a different discipline may require another specialist.
A record of the work
The proposal identifies the areas to be treated, the changes being sought and the marks that are expected to remain.
