Dimensions, condition and attribution answer different questions. Keep all three in view.
Dimensions
Separate footprint, height and access.
Width and depth describe the space an object occupies. Height helps relate it to nearby furniture and the way it will be used. An armchair’s overall size, for example, is different from the space needed to sit down and move around it.
The route into the room needs its own consideration: doorways, turns, stairs and the practical handling of the piece.
Condition
Read the condition notes.
Condition notes describe finish marks, rubbed edges, fabric wear and variations in the glaze. They tell you how the piece looks, without guessing at its age or history.
Where a maker, period or restoration history is not assigned, that uncertainty remains explicit.

Bring the object and the setting together.
Choose a piece and a room, then add the general width constraint if useful. Detailed access arrangements or further object questions can be discussed separately.
