In the Children’s House
Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Mathematics sit alongside explorations of the wider world. Children work with concrete materials and an adult’s guidance.
The 3–6 age band is commonly called Children’s House, or Casa dei Bambini, in Montessori education.

Practical Life
A tray keeps the things needed for a piece of work together. Pouring, folding, and caring for the room are part of everyday classroom life.
Can children reach the materials, carry them to a workspace, and return them when finished?
