Site projects / Environmental reclamation
Plan the cleanup.
Prepare the next use.
We coordinate the assessment, material-removal and site-work stages of a reclamation project, with the required specialists and a documented scope.

Keep the place,
the change and the scope together.
A site history, a proposed use and the work being considered are different parts of the same conversation.
- Existing place
- What information is available about the site and the way it has been used?
- Proposed change
- What is expected to happen next, and who is involved?
- Agreed work
- Which questions and responsibilities belong in the project scope?
From site history to a work plan
Know the work
before it begins.
Groundwork reviews the site history, existing assessments and the proposed use with the project team. We identify the information gaps and coordinate any further characterization through appropriately qualified specialists.
The plan identifies the work areas, types of material, fieldwork, access and operating limits, and each contractor’s responsibilities. The plan distinguishes assessment, cleanup activity and the conditions that must be checked before the next use.
Prepare a reclamation briefWhat we coordinate
The project,
in workable stages.
- Assessment coordinationReview the existing record and arrange the additional specialist input the scope requires.
- Material and waste planningSeparate the project’s streams in the plan and establish appropriate receiving routes after review.
- Fieldwork and logisticsCoordinate agreed contractors, site access, removal activity and the sequence of work.
- Verification and closeoutCollect the required work records and specialist reports, identify exceptions and document the next steps.
A defined role
One project contact.
Clear responsibilities.
Groundwork manages coordination and the project record. Specialist assessment, regulated transport, treatment and disposal are carried out by providers authorised for the particular work. Their scope and responsibilities are established before mobilisation.
A completed removal does not by itself establish that a site is ready for a new use. The agreed project requirements determine what further assessment or verification is needed.

Keep the evidence
with the work.
The closeout record brings the agreed scope, completed activity, receiving documentation and unresolved items together for the facility or project team.
