Groundwork Environmental
Plan the work.
Coordinate the people.
Environmental and waste-service projects need a defined scope, the right providers and a record that follows the work.

Our role
One project contact
across the work.
Groundwork works with facility and project teams to define environmental and waste-service scopes, coordinate specialist providers and organise the project documentation. We stay involved from the initial information review through provider coordination and handover.
Our work includes planning the sequence, confirming responsibilities and receiving arrangements, coordinating agreed provider activity and assembling the handover record.
Working responsibilities
The right role
for each part.
- The facility teamSupplies existing information, identifies operating constraints and approves the agreed project scope.
- Groundwork coordinationMaintains the work package, coordinates the providers and follows the record through to handover.
- Specialist providersCarry out the assessment, regulated transport, treatment, disposal or site work for which they are appropriately authorised.
- The project handoverKeeps provider documentation, completed work and open items clear for the team taking over.
A practical working relationship
Keep changes visible.
Follow through on the record.
We explain the work package in terms of activities, responsibilities and deliverables. If the information or site conditions change, we review the scope with the people responsible for the affected work.
The customer should be able to see what has been agreed, what has happened and what remains to be resolved.
