THE DAILYBAKEAt the counter

Hello from Crumb

We make bread.
You make room at the table.

The day starts with dough, flour and a warm oven. Our counter brings together slow-fermented loaves, butter pastries and small sweet bakes for ordinary days.

takes its time.

Mixing, resting, shaping and baking each have a place. We work back from the loaf we want to put on the counter.

The country loaf

For thick slices.
For the last bit of soup.

A dark crust, an open crumb and enough character to hold its own. The country loaf is the bread we come back to, whether it is torn at the table or toasted the next morning.

The sweeter side

Save a corner
of the bag.

Butter croissants bring crisp layers. Cinnamon buns bring a soft spiral and a little glaze. There is no need to choose the same thing every time.

Breakfast together

One box.
A reason to put the kettle on.

Our six-piece breakfast box brings butter croissants and cinnamon buns to the same table. Add a loaf if breakfast is likely to become lunch.

Around the corner

A morning stop.
A bag for home.

The counter is open Tuesday through Sunday, 7:30am–3:00pm. Mondays are for the work behind the bake.

Good to know

A few counter questions.

Can I plan something for a group?+

The bakery list is a place to organize the bread and pastries you are considering. Sharing boxes offer another starting point for a breakfast table or a small gathering.

What is in the country loaf?+

The loaf is made with wheat flour, water, salt and sourdough starter. Its long fermentation and dark bake give it a firm crust and an open crumb.

What if I have an allergy or dietary requirement?+

Speak with the bakery about the ingredients in a particular product before making a food choice. The kitchen handles wheat, milk, eggs and nuts; this menu does not make a free-from guarantee.

Can I change the quantities?+

Yes. The review brings the list and your contact details together. Use Edit the list to return to the quantities and make a change.
