Private coaching

Bring a goal.
Work on it aboard.

Private coaching gives a session a particular focus. We discuss the task, your prior experience and the suitable boat before agreeing a plan.

What the session covers

Choose the focus

A return after a break, more time steering or communication between regular crew members can shape the session.

Describe your experience

Tell us the boat types and tasks you have tried. You do not need to assign yourself a formal level.

Agree the session

The plan needs to fit the boat, conditions and people taking part. A requested task is not automatically a confirmed session.

Keep the next step specific

At the end of the session, discuss what to practise again and which skills need more instruction or a different setting.

The water sets part of the plan.

The instructor decides which exercises suit the conditions and the crew. The outline describes the learning focus; it is not a promise that every task will be completed in one session.
