What the session covers

The plan

Agree the task, who is responsible for each part and the calls that will be used.

Role rotation

Take turns at the helm and crew positions, so each task makes sense in relation to the others.

Communication

Practise short, understood calls and confirmation that the crew is ready before beginning a task.

Debrief

Identify moments when the sequence worked and where the crew needed more time or clearer information.

The water sets part of the plan.

The instructor decides which exercises suit the conditions and the crew. The outline describes the learning focus; it is not a promise that every task will be completed in one session.
