Foundations · 50 minutes
Start with
the equipment and the rhythm.
A measured introduction for adults who are new to the reformer or want to revisit the class basics.

The format
Time for explanation.
Foundations makes room for the equipment setup, the way the carriage and springs are used in class, and the transitions between parts of the planned sequence. The instructor introduces the work and gives clear directions as the class progresses.
The pace includes pauses for explanation. It is a different starting point from a class built around familiar sequences and quicker transitions.
Before arriving
Read the first-visit guide.
Wear comfortable exercise clothing, bring water and use grip socks. Arrive a little before the class so there is time to meet the instructor and become familiar with the room.
